Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 cup of rice, uncooked
  • 1 head of cabbage, round
  • 1 cup of onion, diced
  • 1 can of sauerkraut
  • 1 can of stewed tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Mix Mix beef, eggs, onions & rice

  2. Prepare Cabbage Blanche cabbage. Peel cabbage. Line up leaves of cabbage.

  3. Fill Place handfuls of beef mixture into leaves. Toothpick together.

  4. Mix Mix stewed tomatoes and juice together.

  5. Layer 1 layer of sauerkraut and 1 layer cabbage rolls. Repeat until large pot is full.

  6. Pour Pour stewed tomatoes and juice over the rolls

  7. Simmer Cook on low 1 ½ hours.
