I found this recipe on the alohaworld website (http://alohaworld.com/ono) and just adore it! I’m always looking for a good banana bread recipe and this one fits the bill! It’s moist and has a nice crisp, almost caramelized crust. Now if I could just figure out how to keep the crust during storage!

I happen to like beets, but many in my circle of friends don’t, so I usually keep this recipe just for myself & a few guests who don’t mind a taste-experiment! It comes from the 1967 ‘so good with FRUIT’ cookbook from Better Homes and Gardens.
Got this recipe from our pastor’s wife while stationed in Hawaii. It is VERY easy and is always a big hit! I don’t remember how many ounces are in the cans, so the amounts are approximates.
