Swedish Butter Cookies
Swedish Butter Cookies with a twist of maple syrup. The dough is rolled into logs, baked and cut into diagonal pieces while still warm.

Ingredients

- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon Log Cabin (maple) syrup
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Sift last two ingredients.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add syrup, flour, and soda.
- Mix well.
- Divide dough into 8 parts.
- Roll into 9 inch logs.
- Place logs on cookie pans as far apart as possible.
- Bake 300℉ 15 to 30 minutes.
- Cut diagonally into one inch pieces while still warm.
- Dust with powdered sugar
