FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Holiday Cooking Is Easier Than Ever with Shared Recipes Club

This holiday season, home cooks can experience a new, stress-free way to plan, cook, and share recipes with Shared Recipes Club. Designed to eliminate the clutter and frustration of traditional recipe websites, this innovative platform offers a truly personalized experience where users can:

  • Upload handwritten recipe cards for digital preservation and transcription.
  • Create shareable family and personal recipe collections.
  • Access mobile-friendly recipes with a ‘Cook Mode,’ ensuring the screen won’t go dark mid-recipe.
  • Add ingredients directly to Instacart to streamline grocery shopping.
  • Enjoy an ad-free experience, free from sponsored content or excessive blog text.

While all recipes are free to view, memberships are available for just $2.50 per month or $25 annually (two months free) to support operations. Membership proceeds are donated to local food banks, and members facing food insecurity are assisted in finding local resources.

The members-only forum provides a supportive community for:

  • Discussing recipes and sharing tips.
  • Requesting recipes, meal ideas and assistance with dietary needs.
  • Listing food box ingredients and receiving help with meal planning.

Membership Benefits:

  • Save recipes to a personal ‘recipe box.’
  • Upload and share personal recipes in your own collections.
  • Digital preservation and transcription of heirloom recipe cards.
  • Influence the platform’s future by requesting custom features.

A Personal Touch: Preserving Family Traditions

“The ability to upload and preserve handwritten recipe cards has turned into an invaluable asset,” said founder Liza Duffy. “One of our members who found us on Facebook was so touched that he was able to share his late wife’s recipe cards with his family. They had been collecting dust since her passing. Now his adult children can access her recipes from anywhere in the world, keeping her traditions—and memory—alive.”

“I wanted a site focused on real cooking, free from endless ads and SEO-driven content,” said Duffy. “Shared Recipes Club is for home cooks who value simplicity, authenticity, and community.”

Shared Recipes Club is part of Banba CreationsLL Digital Media LLC, an independent business run by a mother-daughter team. The family are also certified producers of Pinkerton avocados, Pinkerton/Wilma hybrid avocados, Meyer lemons and tangerines, sold at local farmers markets under their brand, Avo Nice Day.

Liza Duffy is available for interviews and demonstrations to showcase the platform’s unique features and share how it’s transforming the way people cook and connect over food.
