Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of vodka sauce, per serving
- 1 pound of Prawns, peeled and deveined
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon of basil, fresh, chopped
- pasta, linguini, cooked
Instructions
Prepare the Prawns In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the prawns with salt and black pepper. Add the seasoned prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
Add Vodka Sauce Once the prawns are cooked, reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour in the vodka sauce, stirring to coat the prawns evenly. Simmer the prawns in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Adjust Seasoning Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Add pasta Cook linguini pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the prawns and sauce. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in the creamy vodka sauce.
Garnish and Serve Sprinkle chopped fresh basil over the Prawns alla Vodka for a burst of flavor and a pop of color. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a bit of extra spice. Serve the dish immediately, and enjoy your quick and delicious Prawns alla Vodka!
