Lamb Chops Rosemary

Lamb and rosemary go together so well. This is a nice dish to serve with mashed potatoes and greens. Very Australian, with style 🙂 You can use the older and fattier lamb, just be sure to skim the fat first. If you use mutton, do it in the crock pot and cook till the meat falls off the bones, cool and skim.

Tossed Salad With Mandarin Oranges

This salad goes good with any main dish and is especially nice with BBQ. Easy to carry to picnics or potlucks too! Just 4 ingredients make it fast and easy! Fits into many catagories for the Zaar World Tour especially SW.Taken from a Louisiana Cajun French Church Anniversary Cookbook.

Chocolate Chip Biscuits-Aussie Style

These are a very “moresome” bikky:) I used to sell these at the local markets, and they always sold out first. Very easy to make, and to really show off, you can throw a handful of chopped macadamia nuts in, gives them an extra crunch!!! PLEASE NOTE, THESE ARE NOTHING LIKE AMERICAN CHOC CHIP COOKIES, WHICH ARE SOFT AND CHEWY. I have also added coco powder to the mix and used white chips, looks good, but the white chips stay very hard.

Microwave Fried Rice

FRIED RICE (NOT!) Thats what my kids call this!! I got this recipe from my friend Bev, and it is a quick and easy side dish, that can be padded out with a few more veggies. I would suggest that you dont “muck around” with this too much the first time you make it, as I have tried to be too clever and it hasnt worked out as well!!! having said that, I have to say I usually add garlic and ginger, and I am sure you have a favorite ingredient you would like to add 🙂
