This recipe is for the ever-popular chicken nugget. It uses polenta and finely grated parmesan cheese as the crumb mixture. Should serve 6 children or 4 adults. These are great nuggets and they are gluten free! Feel free to add some spices or seasonings of your choice.
Corn tortillas filled with a cheesy chicken and salsa combination, then baked in the oven with a salsa and cheese topping. Serve with a salad or shredded lettuce and sour cream. Delicious. This recipe is gluten free but if you don’t require your meals to be gluten free then you can use regular tortillas and your favourite salsa.
I was looking for a mashed potato recipe on Zaar and couldn’t find one. So here it is. We have mashed potatoes with casserole, stew or just as a side. Also being gluten-free I often use a gluten free pastry for the base of a pie and just top it with mash. You can use any quantity of potatoes, butter and milk/cream to your preferences.
This recipe was in a handbook given to me by the Coeliac Society – Melbourne. I think they taste rather good.
This recipe is from Canadian Living’s Get Grilling: Summer 2007. It’s a wonderful sauce and marinade that’s also called chimichurri rojo. To marinate 1 lb of lamb chops, boneless pork chops, steak or chicken legs you’ll need 1/3 cup of sauce. Marinade the meat for 4 to 24 hours before grilling.
