Best Seller Banana Muffins

This recipe was given to me by a good friend, it’s quick to prepare and easy to put together. Just mix the dried ingredients in a bowl, then blend the wet ingredients in another bowl and mix them together. Please note one Australian tablespoon is four US/UK teaspoons

Aussie Bikkies (Crackers) With Cheese and Onion

Traditional Australian snack for when unexpected guests drop by. To be truly authentic the cheese must be the very cheapest brand available and the crackers a little stale. Use a good and strong fresh onion though so your guests don’t know the difference.

Fairy Bread

This treat is popular at children’s parties here in Australia. (Servings and Yield depend on how many slices of bread you use.)

Wallumbilla Crustless Quiche

A very easy quiche, that you can “muck around” with. Great way to use up any withering veggies or cold meat, or even cheese, in the fridge or freezer. Great for lunch, brunch, dinner, a snack after school, even breakfast!!! My daughter got this recipe while teaching in Wallumbilla, everyone there wanted to feed her, she had a great time!!!

Armenian Choereg (Breadsticks)

Not exactly the crispy texture of a bread stick, a little more tender. Go to your local Middle Eastern Grocery or health food store for the black seeds (Black Nigella). This is a crucial ingredient for the nutty taste. These are great with coffee or tea for breakfast or a snack. Makes alot and they last forever stored in a large plastic container. Armenians like to cook in groups, so it helps to have a partner with this one!
