Tried and true Classic Carrot Cake. Made with eggs, sugar, oil, flour, cinnamon, crushed pineapple, chopped nuts, and grated carrots for a timeless treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of pineapple
  • 1 cup of nuts
  • 2 cups of carrot(s)

Instructions

  • Preheat
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177°C). Grease and flour pan.
  • Beat
    Beat together eggs, sugar and oil.
  • Add flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Fold in
    Mix in pineapple, nuts and carrots, gently.
  • Bake
    Bake at 350 degrees F (177°C). for 1 1/2 hours.
