BBQ Port Rissoles
Very tasty alternative to the beef variety – goes well with cabbage and can be cooked as meatballs to take on a picnic/entertaining.

These rissoles are tender, juicy and very hearty. Great by themselves, in a burger or served with vegetables. You can even have them cold with a sweet chili dipping sauce!
A New Idea find. An Australian cup is 250ml and a tablespoon is 20ml. To achieve a light result, it is important to handle damper dough quickly and gently.
This is a combo my 2 1/2 year old DD came up with. I let her choose what she wanted in the smoothie and just threw it all together. She’s a pretty good cook for a 2 1/2 year old, it turned out well. The addition of spinach leaves was my input merely for extra nutrition, these are optional.
In Australia we call cookies biscuits. This recipe is from Super Food Ideas and the recipe states that it makes 28 cookies. I actually got 48 cookies from the mix but I do make my cookies smaller as I have two small girls that like one for each hand 😉 These make quite a sweet biscuit.
