This recipe is an idea I came up with, to satisfy my craving for “the real thing” while on a no salt, no fat, no wheat, low glycemic, healthy eating plan! Of course, though not flakey like the traditional dough made with butter and shortening, these are made similar to an omlette or crepe, and have all the flavor without the fat! If not on salt restriction, you may add salt to taste.
My friend Clint gave me this recipe, I’ve changed it slightly, This pot roast is wonderful served with Rice & Peas, roasted potatoes and the spicy gravy it cooks in. Put it on the stove and sit back and relax. For a hot n’ spicy roast add 1 pepper, for a spicier roast add 2 peppers and for the (on fire) spiciest roast and gravy add 3 peppers but Please beware … THESE ARE HOT!…I kid you not. Scotch bonnet peppers are also known as habaneros.
Very tasty and easy to make. Another favorite of mine from cooking light. I generally use more curry powder and add jamaican hot sauce.
This is from Cooking Light Times are approximate Posting for safe keeping. Make sure to oil the bugers and grill. Make salsa early in the day or the night before for the flavours to meld.
