These are savory fritters filled with pineapples, habanaro, chives, garlic, turmeric and are very addictive. Serve as an appetizer, top some grilled meats, seafood or a side to a salad. Diced red pepper mix along the pineapple would be very good in this as well.
Outstanding for potlucks, easy and not to sweet. I served 2 potloads of this at my wedding and it was the only dish that we ran out of.

I found this recipe on the alohaworld website (http://alohaworld.com/ono) and just adore it! I’m always looking for a good banana bread recipe and this one fits the bill! It’s moist and has a nice crisp, almost caramelized crust. Now if I could just figure out how to keep the crust during storage!
