Mouan Ang ( Cambodian Grilled Chicken)
I found this recipe on a Southeast Asian food website. Time does not include marinating the chicken. Submitted for ZWT 9

Another recipe “stolen” from the Cambodian grandmother of a former student of mine. These are very similar to a dish served at a local Cambodian restaurant. At the restaurant you can also get it as an entree with rice. Prep time doesn’t include marinating.
These make a nice presentation when served individually to each person, along with couscous and a Greek salad.
Deliciously grilled cornish game hens with a simple honey/ginger marinade and a delicious cranberry strawberry sauce. Melt in your mouth deliciousness.
Hoisin (or Hoi Sin) sauce also known is Chinese barbeque sauce, can be found pre-made in a jar at the supermarket. I prefer to use the “Fountain” brand, but there are many options these days. I’ve served this recipe hot as a main meal with an Asian Vegetable Stir-fry as a side dish. I’ve also brought them to a social function and thread them on small skewers, they were eaten cold as finger food. Ten minute marinating time is included in preparation. You can marinate this overnight or just ten minutes.
