Pumpkin and Bacon Damper – Pan Barbecued

Damper is a traditional Australian “bush” bread which was cooked in the hot coals of campfires.It’s ok to use an oven these days but this one is done on a grill. This is a nice twist on an old Aussie favourite.

Spiced Apple Damper

A sweet variation on traditional Aussie campfire damper – from Super Food Ideas magazine. The original recipe states to use Pink Lady apples but you could use Royal Gala’s, Grannies, or any other that took your fancy. I’m sure you could try other fruit, too.

Sun-Dried Tomato Damper
