Amazing Belgian Waffles

I found this on the internet-i made it easier by using the Saco Buttermilk Powder ( which lats a long time in the fridge)-I am posting this for safe keeping. I have tried a lot of waffle recipes and by far this is the best. I made this in the kitchenaid-gently and slowly so as not to overmix. Try real maple syrup- I am biased towards upstate NY maple syrup since my brother lives there ( he actually made syrup from some sugar maples in his backyard)

Ww Belgian Waffles

Only 6 pts per wonderfully fluffy waffle. Can be made ahead and frozen for later use. Found on WW.com

Real Belgian Stiff Dough Waffles-No Sugar Added

These came from a grandmother to one of the girls in our youth group. She was born in Belgium and this is her family recipe – they are rich and lovely. I use splenda now for the recipe as my son is diabetic, but it works with sugar beautifully too. These are the ones you only eat once a year! Great as dessert waffles too!

Vegan Belgian Waffles

This recipe is an adaptation of “Favorite Belgian Waffles” on VegWeb. They don’t taste exactly like a Belgian waffle (there is a subtle banana taste), but the texture is right and they don’t stick to the waffle iron – a definite plus for us!
