This is another classic Viennese dessert. Thinly baked crepes, filled with a Quark Cream filling and finished in the oven. It is important to use authenthic German Quark/Topfen. This is an Austrian version of a smoked salmon spread. Horseradish is very popular in Austria and is used in many dips and sauces. The salmon used in this dish is not Lox, this is slowly smoked Alaskan Sockey and is flaked rather than cut. Enjoy it with some crusty Ciabatta bread and a glass of fruity white wine.
These light and airy balls of hazelnuts are just like the Ferrero Rocher chocolates but without the chocolate. I know that will offend some people – no chocolate, huh! These are good neverless.
Use as a quick cake topping. Even though it is not really a dairy product, you should still keep anything topped with this topping in the refrigerator.
