My mom’s recipe! Delicious and easy meal on those cold winter days. You can cook it either in oven or crockpot; but I find the meat is more tender when made in the crockpot. Make sure you wash off the cubes well. If you find the mixture to be thin after cooking awhile, you can add another can of soup. Serve with warm bread & colorful vegetable (for nice presentation).
This is the simplest pork and noodles recipe I know. It takes only 5 ingredients – two of which are salt and pepper. My kids LOVE this!! You’ll be amazed at how good this is. I cook the meat in my crockpot, but my mom has always done it on the stovetop. I never believed her when she said it was flavored basically with salt, pepper and beef broth. I thought I was so smart and added spices and garlic, but I found that nothing I tried was as good as her version. As they say, mother knows best….uuggghhh!
I got this recipe from a family friend. It is so simple that my 12 y.o. son will throw it together for me without complaining! Feel free to use any beef or pork roast you prefer. I have been known to use a chuck roast and a pork roast at the same time.
I found this on the all recipes site. This is a very easy recipe for a delicious pot roast. It makes its own gravy. It’s designed especially for the working person who does not have time to cook all day, but it tastes like you did. You’ll want the cut to be between 5 and 6 pounds.
