Samoan Fish (Vaisu)
A typical simple fish preparation from Samoa. Preparation time does not include time to prepare the grill.

The recipe calls for all ingredients to be fresh, like making your own coconut milk – very time consuming and fresh coconuts are hard to come by. Posted for ZWT 7 and sourced from http://panipopos.blogspot.com
This is a Samoan raw fish dish, similar to Kokoda and ceviche. Use a firm white fish. If possible make your own coconut milk, but canned will do.
This recipe is from a South Pacific web site and has been posted for ZWT-7 tour. I have not tried this yet, but will be, it sounds great to me.
These delicious, soft buns are made even better with the addition of the sweet coconut sauce. They are so easy that even I made a perfect batch!!! These are usually served upside-down so the sauce ends up on the top. I got this recipe from Seta’s “Panipopos’ Kitchen”. Enjoy!
