Chef’s Incredible Tip: After you thoroughly wash and rinse the sausage casings, soak them in pineapple juice for 24-36 hours (in the fridge) and then rinse them again prior to stuffing them. This process softens the casings and makes them much more tender and palatable!
I found this on a vegan site – I was looking for a quick recipe for my nephew Rhys’s birthday, in british measures, as I didn’t have time to convert american ones! Its quick, easy and yummy!! Be careful when you remove the cookies from the tray as they are quite soft in the middle and can stick a bit.
This is a nice easy baked doughnut type bun.. would buy these in the school cafe… on the way home from school many many times..we would gobble them up…

These are so simple, flakey, and fast. Please note the recipe should say 3/4 cup milk to 7/8 of a cup….Since the change over its got a 1 in there. Which they yet have to correct…See also my instructions where it states i use 3/4 of a cup of milk.)
