- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Lightly flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Dust each piece with flour and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, minced garlic, lemon juice, and butter.
- Stir and cook for about 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine and the sauce to slightly reduce.
- Serve:
- Pour the lemon garlic sauce over the cooked chicken and serve immediately.
