This is a classic Pumpkin Pie recipe spiced with cinnamon, ginger and cloves.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 egg(s)
  • 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1 2/3 cups of milk
  • 1 prepared pie crust

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C)
  • Mix
    Beat together all ingredients in order given until well mixed.
  • Pour into prepared pie shell.
  • Bake
    Bake at 425°F (218°C) for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce oven temperature
    Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (177°C) and bake for another 45 minutes or until inserted knife or toothpick comes out clean.
