Herb-Breaded Baked Tilapia Fillets: a crispy, flaky, flavourful delight infusing tender fish with aromatic herbs, baked to perfection.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Tilapia fillets
  • 1/4 cup of mustard
  • 2 cups of Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of rosemary
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil spray.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In another shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and herbs. Mix well.
  4. Pat dry the tilapia fillets with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  5. Take each fillet and coat it evenly with the mustard mixture.
  6. Dip the mustard-coated fillets into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the fish.
  7. Place the coated fillets in the prepared baking dish.
  8. Lightly spray the top of the fillets with olive oil spray for extra crispiness.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy.
  10. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before serving.
