Emma’s Swedish Apple Nut Tart Cake: A cherished tradition! Spiced apple slices and crunchy nuts nestled in a tender cake. No icing needed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of Vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 4 cups of chopped apples
  • 3/4 cup of chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Whisk
    Whisk all dry ingredients together thoroughly
  3. In a separate bowl, Mix together wet ingredients
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, fold in apples.
  5. Bake
    Bake in an oblong pan for 45 minutes.

Notes

No icing for this cake.
