Classic Lipton Onion Soup Meatloaf
A timeless, flavorful meatloaf made with Lipton Onion Soup Mix for a perfect, no-fuss dinner
- Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs (or 5 slices of bread, crumbled) (You can substitute with oatmeal)
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Combine ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, breadcrumbs (or oatmeal), eggs, water, and ketchup. Use your hands or a large spoon to mix just until combined—do not overmix to avoid a dense texture. - Shape the loaf:
Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan or form it into a loaf shape on the baking sheet. Smooth out the top. - Bake:
Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). - Rest and serve:
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional ketchup on the side, mashed potatoes, and green beans for a classic comfort meal.
