Cherry Filling
- 4 cups of cherries, fresh or frozen, pitted
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of lemon, juice
Crumble Topping
- 1 cup of rolled oats, old fashion
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter, cold and cut into small pieces

PreheatPreheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Make fillingIn a large bowl, combine the pitted cherries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss until the cherries are well coated, and then transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.

Make crumbleIn another bowl, make the crumble topping by combining the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold butter pieces and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to incorporate the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cherry mixture in the baking dish.
