Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of beef, stew meat
  • 1 16 oz can of tomato juice
  • 1/3 cup of onion, chopped
  • 4 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 16 oz can of tomatoes
  • 1 8 oz can of corn, whole kernel
  • 1 cup of carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup of Potatoes, diced

Instructions

  1. Combine
    Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings, and 6 cups of water in a pot
  2. Simmer
    Cover and simmer for 2 hours.
  3. Strain
    Strain broth and skim off excess fat.
  4. Add
    Add meat and all vegetables back to the pot, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
