Instructions
Wash, peel if desired, core, and grate or finely chop the apples.
Heat ghee or saturated butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add the apples and cook, stirring, until softened and moisture reduces.
Add sugar and continue cooking, stirring often, until the mixture thickens into a halwa consistency.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
