Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 ½ cups fresh breadcrumbs (or 5 slices of bread, crumbled) (You can substitute with oatmeal)
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup water
- ⅓ cup ketchup
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) . Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, breadcrumbs (or oatmeal), eggs, water, and ketchup. Use your hands or a large spoon to mix just until combined—do not overmix to avoid a dense texture.
Shape the loaf: Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan or form it into a loaf shape on the baking sheet. Smooth out the top.
Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour , or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) .
Rest and serve: Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional ketchup on the side, mashed potatoes, and green beans for a classic comfort meal.
