Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • roasted peanuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish, forming an even crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.

  2. Make the Filling In a large mixing bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until no streaks remain.

  3. Fill the crust Spoon the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.

  4. Make the Chocolate Ganache Topping In a heatproof bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Let the chocolate ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the peanut butter filling.

  5. Chill Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until set.

  6. Garnish (Optional) Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the top (if desired)
