1 1/2 quart casserole, Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups rice
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 3/4 cup diced canned pineapple
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rice in chicken stock until stock is absorbed. Brown pineapple and ham in butter in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Stir in rice and season, to taste, with salt and pepper.

  2. Add almonds, stir well and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degree oven.
