Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups long-grain rice, uncooked
- 2 large green bell peppers, chopped
Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add the uncooked rice and chopped green bell peppers; cook, stirring, until the rice is lightly toasted.
Add enough water to cook the rice according to the rice package directions, then bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat, let stand covered for 5 minutes, then fluff before serving.
