Ingredients

  • 1 ready-to-eat ham steak (2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup peeled chopped tomato
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Place ham in a baking dish.

  3. Add onions, tomatoes, wine, broth and bay leaf.

  4. Bake for 45 minutes, basting frequently.

  5. Knead butter and flour together.

  6. Stir into gravy a little at a time, stirring until thickened.
