Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons divided sunflower oil
- 1 diced onion (medium)
- 1/2 teaspoon mace (ground)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1 large egg yolk
- Black pepper (ground)
- Kosher salt
- Cranberry sauce (side serving)
Instructions
Preheat oven at 400℉
Heat oil in oven over medium heat
Add onion and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, then add mace. Stir as it cooks for 1 minute. Turn off heat.
Combine beef, onion mixture, cranberries, egg yolk, and spices, then make small balls (about 1 inch) and set aside.
Coat 9x13 baking dish with oil and arrange meatballs, evenly spread. Bake until cooked through for approx. 20 minutes.
