Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour, additional
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix sifted flour, sugar and margarine until crumbly.

  2. Set aside 1/2 cup of mixture.

  3. To the remaining crumb mixture add remaining ingredients as given above.

  4. Beat well with mixer on low speed.

  5. Spread evenly in a greased 8" square pan.
