Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup whole milk or 1 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces whiskey
  • 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whiskey

Instructions

  1. CAKE: Combine all ingredients and mix for 3 minutes by hand.

  2. Pour into well-greased bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

  3. Toothpick should come out clean.

  4. ICING:.

  5. Cook on stovetop on med.

  6. heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is brown.

  7. Leave cake in pan and using a toothpick, poke several holes into cake.

  8. Pour 3/4 of icing onto cake.

  9. Let set 15 minutes.

  10. Flip cake onto plate.

  11. Brush remaining icing onto top& sides of cake.
