  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa (extra)
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Place butter in a microwave proof dish, melt on high for 1 minute.

  2. Stir in sifted flour, cocoa, sugar ,milk and vanilla.

  3. Beat until smooth with a wooden spoon.

  4. Sprinkle with sifted cocoa & brown sugar.

  5. Pour over boiling water.

  6. Cook on high for 12 minutes (watch incase it boils over).

  7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

  8. Serve with ice cream or cream.
