Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 -3 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon flavoring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cream butter until fluffy.

  3. Add in powdered sugar and vanilla.

  4. Mix in flour and cornstarch slowly.

  5. Roll into 1" balls and place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes until bottoms are light brown.

  7. Cool.

  8. For icing, melt butter and mix in flavoring (i.e. almond, peppermint.) If its too stiff, mix in a little milk at a time.
