Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon and 1/2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1/3 cup of melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and 1tbsp matcha powder together and whisk to combine.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix oil, yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, egg and vanilla together and whisk to combine.

  4. Mix dry ingredients into wet.

  5. Transfer batter to a greased donut pan. Bake 8-12 minutes (larger donut pans may need more time).

  6. Mix together remaining matcha powder and milk with powdered sugar and adjust consistency using powdered sugar or milk until it’s smooth and thin.

  7. While the donuts are still warm, dip them into the glaze and transfer to a baking rack to cool and allow the glaze to set.

  8. Enjoy!
