Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, large fryer chicken, cut into pieces
  • Vegetable oil, enough for frying
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 Teaspoon of salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of bread, crumbs
  • 1 cup of Panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Set up Set out 3 bowls

  3. Bowl 1 Combine flour, salt, and pepper

  4. Bowl 2 Beat eggs and milk

  5. Bowl 3 Mix bread crumbs

  6. Heat oil Set frying pan on stove to medium-medium high heat - hall full of oil

  7. Dredge Dip each piece of chicken into Bowls 1-3, shaking off the excess before moving on to the next bowl.

  8. Fry Place chicken in hot oil and brown on all sides. Set on foil-lined cookie sheet to cool. Salt and pepper each piece while hot.

  9. Bake Fry pieces in batches. Once all pieces have been browned, bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees (or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees).
