Large bowl, frying pan, 9x13 baking dish, whisk, oven
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 3/4 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup beef bouillon
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
In large bowl, mix together ground beef, egg yolks, salt, pepper, parsley and bread crumbs.
Beat egg whites until stiff, then fold into beef mixture. Form mixture into 8 oval patties.
Over medium heat, melt butter in large frying pan, and brown patties well on each side. Remove to 9x13 baking dish.
Stir flour into pan drippings until lightly browned. Whisk in beef bouillon and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in sour cream. Pour sauce mixture over patties, and bake in 350 oven for 25 minutes.
