  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen peas, thawed
  • 4 -5 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions or 1/4 cup chives
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • mint or fresh dill, as desired

Instructions

  1. Cook peas until barely tender; drain well and chill. Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.

  2. Serve on lettuce.

  3. Use as a pita filling

  4. Serve as a side dish

  5. Add a cup of cooked pasta and 1 tsp more of mayo and sour cream toss together for pasta salad.

  6. OPTION: Try this warm too! Just drain the peas and add the rest and cook over low heat on the stove until the cheese is melty and everything is combined.
