Hands-Free Mode Off

Ingredients

  • 1 box devil's food cake mix (Betty Crocker Super Moist suggested)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • confectioners' sugar or granulated sugar, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Stir dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms.

  2. Cover bowl and refrigerate for one hour.

  3. Preheat oven to 350F°

  4. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper

  5. Dust hands with sugar and shape dough into 1.5 inch balls.

  6. Roll balls in sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

  7. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are set.

  8. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack.

  9. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

  10. Store covered at room temperature.

Notes

Powdered sugar may absorb into the dough, losing that snowy look. Try rolling them and letting them sit with the coating for a few minutes then rolling through the sugar a second time.
