Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) bag cinnamon baking chips (divided)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour, plus
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans or 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Spray a 9x9 inch square baking pan with no-stick spray.

  3. Place 1 1/3 cups cinnamon chips and butter in a large, microwave-safe bowl.

  4. Microwave for 30 seconds at high power.

  5. Stir.

  6. Repeat until chips are melted.

  7. Set aside to cool slightly.

  8. In a large bowl, beat eggs for 1 minute on high speed of an electric mixer.
