Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut up
- 6 medium fresh ears of corn or 3 cups frozen corn, thawed
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 of an 8-ounce package cream cheese, cubed
Instructions
In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels, reserving drippings in the skillet.
Cut corn from cobs, if using fresh corn.
Add corn and water to the skillet; cook, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Stir in green onion, milk, and cream cheese.
Cook and stir over medium-low heat until cream cheese melts and mixture is heated through.
Stir in bacon and serve.
