Ingredients

  • 2 (9 ounce) packages fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 inch piece of peeled ginger

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries and sort.

  2. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.

  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and ginger.

  4. Pour into bowl and serve at room temperature or chill before serving.
