- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/3 cup chopped onion

Instructions
Preheat the oven according to the pie shell package directions or to a standard quiche baking temperature if provided.
Cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened; drain excess fat.
Spoon the beef and onion mixture into the deep-dish pie shell.
Bake until the pie shell is cooked through and the filling is hot, using the total recipe time as a guide.
Let stand briefly before slicing into 6 servings.
