Equipment

Saucepan, 8x8-inch square pan

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces digestive biscuits or 8 ounces whole wheat biscuits, crushed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan.

  2. Add sugar, syrup and condensed milk.

  3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.

  4. Beat until thick, about 1 minute.

  5. Add crushed biscuits.

  6. Spread in 8x8 square pan and cool for 10 minutes.

  7. Cover with melted chocolate.
