Ingredients
- 2 English seedless cucumbers
- 1/3 cup salt
- water
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Trim off each end with shape knife making thin 1/8” slice from front to back. Repeat these steps until done. Place into a large bowl with 1/3 cup salt and water to cover the cucumber slices. Soak in the salt water for 30 minutes and drain the cucumber pieces and running cold water to wash off the salt water. Place into a colander to drain.
In a mixing bowl combine the sugar, vinegar and salt mixing well. In a serving dish add in the cucumber slices and sugar and vinegar mixture and combine together and place into refrigerator overnight. Serve chill.
