Sausage Rolls

An Australian classic and a favourite with 2 year-olds through to 92 year-olds, at morning teas, afternoon teas, children’s parties and as finger food at adult parties. This version of the recipe combines a few healthier ingredients – ground chicken and several vegetables – with the classic ingredients. From an October 2005 issue of the Australian magazine ‘Fresh Living’.

Roast Beef in a Bag

This is the easiest recipe ever….and I dont cook roast beef any other way because no matter what, you end up with a wonderfully moist roast every time. Oh yeah and there is no oven mess to clean up afterwoods.

Aussie Sausage Roll

A good old favourite. Serve with tomato sauce. This recipe makes 18 rolls Definitely not a recipe for those of us who do not eat red meat and are gluten free.

Pork Chops With Lemon

This is an old magazine clipping that the MIL gave me and she has written on it that she made it in May 1988 and found it truly beautiful.

Cashew and Parsley-Crumbed Chicken With Mustard Vinaigrette

A tasty chicken dish with easy-to-prepare salad greens, cherry tomatoes and red capsicums (or red bell peppers). Rocket, mesculun or baby spinach leaves are ideal greens. I always opt for baby spinach leaves. This recipe is from The Australian Women’s Weekly’s ‘fresh food fast: delicious no-fuss healthy recipes’.
