Grilled Beef in Grape Leaf

Sinaporean-inspired dish from chef/owner Chris Yeo of Straits Restaurant. I originally acquired this recipe from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. This recipe is served with Lemon Grass Sauce which is published independently reference recipe # 316592.

Cambodian Summer Rolls and Dipping Sauce

I like these summer rolls as they are a great alternative to deep-fried egg rolls. They also make a great side for any Asian dish. I also like that they are easy to make and don’t take much time. I didn’t make any changes to the recipe, however next time I think I will put a little less fresh mint in the rolls. I just felt that the mint was too over powering, but besides that they taste great!!

Paul’s Amazing Chicken

The other night, Paul, one of my sharemates made this delicious chicken dish. It was so tasty, and everyone loved it so much!!! Param n’ Kaval made Indian bread called Chapati, we had this with this chicken curry. I asked Paul how to make it n it seems so simple n’ easy!!! I want everyone to try this wonderful Indian dish!!!

Cambodian Coleslaw-Ngiom

A type of cole slaw with chicken and cellophane noodles, pronounced “nyome”. This makes an excellent side dish or a main dish if served with rice.

Ga Gone Thai

i began with Recipezaar’s Ga Kho but was in a BIG hurry and misread the directions. That, plus my usual tweaking, left me with a wonderful dish which is even quicker to prepare. Enjoy!
